Cascade Gardens - Pymble (NSW)

Project Overview

Cascade Gardens was a 93 unit apartment complex spread across two towers on a common basement and podium. Located on Sydney's upper north shore suburb of Pymble, within walking distance to the Pymble station and surrounded by elite provate and public schools.  

Project Advisory Services

MP was engaged by the private equity partner for the project, and provided project advisory services to the Project Control Group with the aim to protect the financier's equity and manage risk throughout the back end of the project until financial close. 

Services included;

  • working closely with the developer and builder on all project related risk issues,
  • providing regular project audits and risk mitigation measures. 
  • Regular site inspections and monitoring of contractor progress,
  • Assessing monthly progress claims and contractor's reporting / validation thereto. 
  • Preparing exit strategies and alternate feasibility scenario's for residual stock unsold after project completion. 
  • Working closely with project sales agent regarding sales and marketing strategy for balance stock. 
  • Monitoring close out of defects and quality management prior to project completion to ensure handover was defect free.
