Vertical Retirement Village - Nundah (QLD)

Project Overview

The Nundah vertical retirement village project is located on a 2Ha site on Buckland Rd, Nundah and will consist of 5 low rise residential buildings with a total yield of 230 independent living units. The residential buildings will be set around a heritage listed chapel and a grand double hoop pine tree. 

Residents will enjoy a 1,600m2 community centre with amenities such as dining and cafe, library, business suite, private dining, club lounge, billiards hall, yoga room, gymnasium, theatre, pool and bowling green. 

Development Services

MP is providing development services to the landowner / developer partnership entity throughout all stages of development. 

Development Milestones and Timing

Significant milestones achieved to date include;

  • Concept masterplan and business case endorsement Nov 2022 
  • Design team mobilisation - March 2023
  • Concept design stage 1 endorsed - June 2023
  • Draft development application / pre-lodgement - Nov 2023
  • Heritage Exemption /Certificate (HEC) - Apr 2024
  • Lodge development application Stage 1 - June 2024
  • Development Consent - Feb 2025
  • Design Development and ECI procurement - ongoing
  • Marketing launch - Sept 2025
  • Construction commencement - Feb 2026
  • Stage 1 completion and handover - Sept 2027
